First graders have a field trip scheduled to the Cincinnati Zoo on Thursday, April 24.  The cost is $9.25 per student.  The field trip will take place between 9:30 a.m. and 1:45 p.m.  Students will need a disposable, packed lunch.  Zoo memberships are not accepted for school field trips.

***ALL CHAPERONE SPOTS HAVE BEEN FILLED*** If you are interested in chaperoning the field trip, please contact your child’s teacher by email. 

Things to consider when agreeing to chaperone:

·       Complete the volunteer online process via the Raptor System (includes a background check)

·       Be available to ride the bus with students to and from the zoo.

·       Be comfortable with the care of a small group of students (4-6 children)

·       Share contact information with teacher

·       Pay an additional  $8.00 fee
