Ranger Legacy Scholarship

The purpose of this scholarship is to provide financial assistance to a student-athlete at LPHS who has demonstrated a love of sport, teamwork, and a passion for competing and incorporating their own goals with that of a team.  This individual has demonstrated a drive to be a part of something bigger than themselves.  Currently we anticipate giving out $500 to the recipient and funds have been donated by retired LPHS teachers/coaches and alumni. The winner will be announced at the Senior awards night on May 12th. 

Eligible student-athletes:

• Have played in 2 or more sports at the varsity level in the same school year

• Are not receiving an athletic scholarship

• Are nominated by their coach

• Have a 3.0 GPA or higher

• Write a 500 word essay explaining “What was the value of high school sports throughout your high school career”
