Are you interested in
learning more about why the mental health of adolescents plunged in the early
2010s and what we can do as parents and educators? Or do you need gifted hours?
If so, this book study
is for you! Social Psychologist Jonathan Haidt explains the issues that are
plaguing our young people, and he proposes four simple rules that will help set
them free. He also discusses why social media damages girls more than boys
and why boys withdraw from the real world into the virtual world through video
games.
The book study will be
self-paced in Google Classroom. There will be reflection questions to answer
for each section of the book, and there will be additional application
questions if you are needing gifted hours. Finally, there will be two optional
Zooms as well. The Google Classroom and Zoom links will be emailed to
participants.
