After School Enrichment 2024-25

Note -- All ASEP classes are held at your students' school. Students will dismiss at the end of the day and meet their instructor at the sign in location (cafeteria). Parents are required to pick up students at the conclusion of class at the front entrance of the building. 

Art Naturally - Creative Arts & Sciences! (MONDAYS)

Art Naturally enrichment classes explore the world around us through art.  Nature is full of lines and patterns, colors, and shapes. Each week we will create a new project in a variety of mediums, giving students the opportunity to explore and create in different ways.

Please note that students will create different projects each session!

Available to MECC students in 1st and 2nd grade

Monday – 2/24, 3/3, 3/10, 3/17

Classes from 4:00-5:00 pm

Hip Hop Dance! (MONDAYS)

WEBBY Dance Company is offering an action-packed, exhilarating Hip Hop class 

immediately following the release from school. With over 400 dances in our 

curriculum, students are regularly introduced to exciting new routines. Our 

instructor will introduce your child to beginning hip hop, rhythm/movement, 

choreography, and dance combinations in a studio-style setting. WEBBY dancers 

learn techniques such as: pivot turns, jazz squares, barrel turns, hitch kicks, and 

more

Monday – 3/10, 3/17, 3/31, 4/7, 4/14, 4/21

Classes from 4:00-4:45 pm

Jump Rope! (WEDNESDAYS)

Join the fun and healthy sport of jump rope! Learn the basic skills of single rope and double-dutch. No experience is necessary. Make sure you wear your gym shoes on the day of the class. Jump ropes will be provided. Bring a great attitude and lots of energy!

Little Lions: Presented by Kings Hammer Soccer Club

(WEDNESDAYS)

Our Little Lions Program is a player-centered program that focuses on technical fundamentals, age appropriate social and cognitive skills. And it’s FUN! Players will participate in training sessions led by Kings Hammer staff. 

Available to MECC students in 1st and 2nd grade

Wednesdays – 2/26, 3/5, 3/12, 3/19

Classes from 4:00 – 5:00 pm

Multi Sports (THURSDAYS)

Students will have fun learning and playing a different sport each week with Coach Jason. Sports they will be learning include soccer, Wiffle ball, ultimate frisbee, etc. This will be a positive and fun environment for the students to explore different sports, where everyone is encouraged to try something new in a non-competitive setting.

Karate! (THURSDAYS)

Begin/further your Karate journey with Mary Tons, owner of MPower Youth! Join to learn beginning karate, self-confidence, and to have fun!

Available to MECC students in 1st and 2nd grade

Classes from 4:00 – 5:00 pm
