Donation of funds go to Fort Hayes Arts & Academic High School Air Force Junior ROTC, Ohio 871st Cadet Corps Group.  We are also known as "The 871" and "Red Tails" in honor of our deep Tuskegee Airman roots in the city of Columbus as well as for the Red Tailed Hawks who nest on our campus grounds. Our unit's motto is "Spit Fire" also in honor of the Tuskegee Airmen and our responsibilities as citizens to be engaged with out communities!

JROTC is a citizens development program sponsored by on of the branches of the Department of Defense.

The Air Force Junior ROTC mission is to "Develop Citizens of Character" and at The 871 we believe that we develop best TOGETHER.

Your generous donations help to sustain the quality of life for our Cadet Corps. We heavily rely on private funding in order to do amazing things with and for amazing people.These donations will be used for Cadet activities, transportation, uniforms, supplies, and equipment.  We heavily rely on private funding in order to do amazing things with and for amazing people.  

We believe in getting involved with our community, educate young people about citizenship, service to community, integrity, excellence, self-discipline and self-confidence.  Our program teaches communication, Aerospace Science, Leadership, team-building, and promotes a healthy lifestyle physically, mentally, and spiritually.  Cadets organize projects and manage programs to positively impact their school and the Columbus community.
