2024-2025 ParaPro Assessment Exam #1755

The ParaPro Assessment is a general aptitude test for prospective and practicing paraprofessionals that measures your: 

*     skills and knowledge in reading, writing and math

*     ability to apply those skills and knowledge when assisting in classroom instruction.

The test consists of 90 selected-response questions across the subject areas of reading, mathematics, and writing.  Approximately two-thirds of the questions in each subject area focus on basic skills and knowledge, and approximately one-third of the questions in each subject area focus on the application of those skills and knowledge in a classroom context.  Fifteen of the questions is the test (five in each subject) are pretest questions and do not count toward the test taker's score.  The test questions are arranged by subject area, with reading first, then mathematics, then writing.

Exams will be administered at the CPSB Teacher Technology Center located at the Caddo Career & Technology Center at 5950 Union Street, Shreveport, LA.

Each test taker must present acceptable photo identification (ID).  Acceptable IDs include driver's license, state or province ID card, passport (must have signature), military or national ID. All IDs will be checked at the time of check-in and during the registration process.  You will not be allowed to test without a valid ID.

All exams start at 9:00 AM.

Please arrive 10 minutes prior to exam starting for check-in.
