Bring your prepared food anytime after 9:00am. Serving will begin at 11:00am!
Each chef will have half of a table (3’ of an 6’ table) to set up and decorate. Bring whatever you need to contain your food and keep it warm. Bring your own serving utensils. We recommend using Sternos as we cannot guarantee outlets or ovens. Captain Shreve is over 75 years old. The electrical system cannot maintain crockpots. If you bring one, we cannot and do not guarantee access to a working plug. We will do our best to accommodate.
We will provide either 2 oz tasting cups or small plates to serve your dish. Forks and spoons will be provided. Each serving is only a taste- a couple of bites (about 1-2oz).
Cook enough for approximately 200 people. You will be serving small tastes. You are not making a full serving for each person, just a taste.
You may cook any kind of Chili, Gumbo, or Dessert. Please fill out the attached allergen warning card with the ingredients of your recipe so our tasters can be safe.
No “to go” plates will be fulfilled.
Competitors will be provided 1 complimentary ticket to eat.
