Description: CPI Refresher Training will encompass all aspects of the Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Course (CPI) resulting in those successfully completing the course gaining certification in CPI.  The course is based on the philosophy of Care, Welfare, Safety, and Security. CPI training includes the following components:  The CPI Crisis Development Model; Communication Skills; Safety Interventions including Physical Intervention and Holding Skills; Decision Making, and Post-Crisis Team responsibilities.  

Audience: Open to Preschool Teachers & Paraprofessional Staff only within the Defiance, Henry, Fulton, and Williams County areas.
